My next visit to the doctor is January 23rd...and assuming that all goes well, and no shyness occurs, we will be able to announce the sex of the baby. Woo hoo! Have any guesses? Scroll down and vote! ...after comparing both printed ultrasound heart beats...I vote boy! Buuut, Aaron dreampt that it was a girl. Hmmmm....
Fun Facts: By the second trimester (week 13), the baby is fully formed and the major organs are functioning...voice box and cords are formed...heart fully developed...fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and they are developing nail beds. 14th Week...can smile and frown and the heartbeat is strong enough to be heard with a doppler (I don't actually know what that is).
I think that it is completely amazing that even though my stomach is nowhere as big as it will be in 5 1/2 more months, that my baby is already FULLY formed and looks like a baby is supposed to look (minus hair and nails), only about the size of the palm of my hand (a month ago it was almost 10 cm). "I praise Him for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Can you even imagine!

the doppler looks like a wand with a flattened head. They probably used it to hear aloria's heartbeat when you were in the tub. They just put the head against your belly and turn it on to hear the baby's heartbeat. Your Dr doesn't use it to let you hear the heartbeat at your appts?
Little baby Muffin. When do we find out what you are?
